This illustrated map that I made with my brother, Dustin, was for the Fang and Talon film series, which can be found here:

I will be selling a few prints of the map at the MCAD art sale this year.  They are the first prints I have made of the maps.  They are about 17” x 17.5” and will be $25.00 per print.

MCAD art sale is coming up.  I will be selling one handbound limited edition of my maze illustration book in the sale, printed on high quality watercolor paper, in addition to a few perfect bound, slight smaller editions of the book printed on more standard paper,

Progress on my city maze illustration.  I made a library, art museum, animal shelter/clinic, life drawing session, cinema, and a partially visible apartment complex (on the very top).

also, the statues in front of the museum are lions.

These are a series of illustrations on cardboard that I made a while ago as an attempt to expand upon the first one (Fly and Soup), which I made in a class.  The recurring theme is a fly buzzing through groups of people or creatures or objects.  They are all a bit old - the first is 2 years ago, the rest are from 2011, I think… but I liked them and wanted to share them.  I started a few others (just abstract shapes made from watercolor right now), but these are the three that were more resolved.

This illustration of mine was just selected to be published in CMYK Magazine #54!  I believe it will come out in early October, possibly late September..Also, a link to the page for this illustration on my website (where there are detail shots):http://dylandavisart.com/illustration_dental_artifacts.html

This is the first progress shot of a new maze illustration I started in the past week (with some preparation also, in the weeks preceding that week).  Sorry for the poor photo quality, I don’t currently have access to a scanner.  It is going to be inspired by places in the neighborhood area and community around where I live (where I live is across the street from the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, and close to the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, where I just graduated from this past May).
